BEFORE BOOKING

Immediately after the procedure, the color may appear more vibrant, similar to wearing makeup. This brightness will gradually soften during the healing process.
After peeling, the lips typically heal to a result similar to wearing a natural base lip or tinted lip balm.
If you are looking for a deeper or more saturated color, achieving this through multiple sessions rather than going very dark in one session will result in a more natural and beautiful outcome.
Aftercare is extremely important.
Do not pick or peel the lips. Keeping your lips well-moisturized throughout the healing process will greatly improve color retention and overall results.
Color retention typically lasts 2–3 years on average, but this may vary depending on individual skin type and lifestyle. Habits such as lip picking, frequent swimming, or high-intensity workouts may shorten longevity.
Lip filler is safe after 1 month, and laser treatments are safe after 2 months.
The procedure may not be possible in some cases, such as active cold sores, severe lip dryness, or certain medical conditions.
Please consult with a medical professional before booking if you fall under any of the following conditions:

- Pregnant or breastfeeding

- High blood pressure or high cholesterol

- Diabetes

- Chemotherapy treatment

- Aspirin use

- Acne medications (e.g. Accutane)

- Keloid scarring

- Seborrheic dermatitis

- Eczema

- Highly sensitive skin

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that enhances color and shape by implanting pigment similar to the natural lip tone. It is not a surgical procedure and does not dramatically change the natural lip structure. Extreme design changes may not be possible.
Touch-ups are not required. If you are happy with the results after your first session, skipping the touch-up is a completely valid choice. An additional session means additional trauma to the skin, so if healing goes well, there is no need to come back.

PREPARATION BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Lip blushing results can vary depending on your condition.
The better your lips are moisturized, the less discomfort you may experience and the better the results will heal.
Please keep your lips well moisturized at all times.

General Care

If you are taking medications that cause dryness (such as acne treatments or oil-control prescriptions), please discontinue in advance if possible.
Avoid using lip masks, sleeping packs, scrubs, or strong exfoliating products before your appointment.

D-3

If you have a history of cold sores, please consult your doctor and begin prescribed antiviral medication 2–3 days before your appointment.

D-1

Avoid alcohol.
Apply a generous amount of Vaseline before bed and get sufficient rest.

D-Day

Do not wear lipstick, tint, or any lip color.
Arrive with your lips well moisturized with Vaseline.
If you have any allergies to specific pigments or cosmetic products, please inform me before the procedure.

AFTERCARE

Healing varies by individual. Please follow the instructions carefully.

D-Day

Apply A&D ointment in a thin layer frequently throughout the day. Moisture is the most important part of the healing process — keep your lips from drying out at all times.
Swelling is normal.
Avoid touching or licking your lips.
Avoid cleansers directly on the lips. If wet, gently pat dry and reapply ointment.
Avoid strenuous exercise.
Avoid hot, spicy, or very warm foods and drinks.
Avoid alcohol and smoking.
If needed, use a cold pack wrapped in a clean towel. Do not place ice directly on the lips.

Day 4

Light peeling is normal. Do not pick or remove scabs.
If small leftover flakes remain, they may be gently removed during washing without force.
Switch to a fragrance-free SPF lip balm and apply frequently throughout the day. Moisture is the most important part of the healing process — keep your lips from drying out at all times.

Day 7

Lips may appear lighter, darker, or slightly uneven in tone. This is a normal part of the healing process.
Lip makeup may be used after Day 7.
Continue using Vaseline or lip balm regularly.
Continue using SPF lip balm regularly to keep your lips moisturized.
Avoid swimming or sauna if the area is still sensitive.
